MK City Council, We Made That, and Offset Projects are collaborating on the opportunity for U25s to be heard as part of the consultation for the city’s new Cultural Infrastructure Plan. Collectively we want to hear your thoughts and ideas for how to make Milton Keynes a great place for culture. How can we ensure cultural and creative activity in MK is more inclusive and representative? What kind of spaces would help support your creative and cultural communities now? What would you like to see happen in the future?
By expanding the presence of culture and arts in the city the plan seeks to lay the groundwork for creative and cultural activities to thrive in Milton Keynes. This is your chance to shape the developing Cultural Infrastructure Plan (CIP) for the city and plan future projects. Tell us about your personal experiences with culture in MK and what initiatives would make the most impact going forward.
What to expect
First, We Made That will briefly introduce you to the work behind the Cultural Infrastructure Plan, the evidence and data they’ve been looking at, and what they think the top priorities to nurture the cultural and creative landscape in Milton Keynes could be.
But then we really want to hear from you.
You are the future, and this plan is for you and the wider MK community!
