Space for Learning: Blended Learning

Space for Learning: Blended Learning was an engaging online workshop summarising the existing evidence on how best to deliver blended learning. We heard from The Education Endowment Foundation, The National Lottery Heritage Fund as well a number of UK museums and arts organisations that are delivering blended learning. It was a valuable opportunity to learn what’s working well and gain ‘top tips’. Case studies were presented by:

  • BALTIC

  • Roundhouse

  • University of Cambridge Museums

  • Liverpool Museums

  • Museum of London

The session was delivered in partnership by the Clore Duffield Foundation, Engage, the Group for Education in Museums (GEM) and the Theatre Education Forum (TEF).

Take a look at the Space for Learning blended learning guidance. Space for Learning is dedicated to creating inspirational learning spaces.

BALTIC shared examples of activity including their new ‘Meet & Make’ videos which focus on creating and using everyday materials from the home.
